I ordered a size 12 for my thin to average sized 11yo. For reference, she is 59” and 82lbs. Like most Joyfolie dresses, the dress gapes really badly around the chest, shoulders and armpits. It’s unflatteringly short- several inches above the knee. I put a belt on it just to see if that would help with how it gaped at the waist but it didn’t look good. They must use a lot of clips on the model’s dress to get such a great photo fit. If you have a shorter and wider than average child then this might look really cute but it didn’t work for us.
